Objectivos

Esta Unidade Curricular visa fornecer aos estudantes as ferramentas de conhecimento - críticas e metodológicas - para compreender a complexidade da interface humanos e não-humanos no passado e no presente. Os estudantes irão adquirir uma visão geral dos recentes conteúdos epistemológicos relacionados com o mundo do ‘não-humano’, ou seja, qualquer organismo (ou comunidade de organismos) que não pertença à nossa espécie. Esta UC pretende mostrar os principais temas e campos disciplinares desenvolvidos recentemente considerando que diferentes espécies, tanto a humana como as não humanas, e as suas inter-relações, podem ser discutidas como agentes nas narrativas culturais. Serão apresentadas as disciplinas que, a partir do século XX, surgiram e se formalizaram com um estatuto metodológico para analisar criticamente i) as várias formas de interação e coevolução da nossa com as outras espécies, ii) a formação de sistemas eco-culturais.

Interações entre humanos e não-humanos em sociedades antigas, tradicionais e contemporâneas 4.1 Sistemas eco-culturais: a síntese entre humano e não-humano 4.2 Etnobiologia e Etnoprimatologia 4.3 Ecologia histórica e a coevolução com o não-humano; as zoonoses

Método de Avaliação

O docente utilizará diferentes métodos de ensino: a) Aulas presencias realizadas com o auxílio de matérias audiovisuais (PowerPoint, vídeos); visitas à museus e/ou exposições na cidade de Lisboa; saída de campo com visitas à ambientes eco culturais. Uma ou mais aulas com um convidado especialista nos temas tratados. b) Leitura de textos e discussão em aula onde cada aluno é convidado a exercer a sua capacidade de análise crítica. AVALIAÇÃO Avaliação continua: dois testes escritos (cada um vale 50%). Avaliação Final: teste escrito: 100%
