Objectivos

Com esta unidade curricular, pretende-se discutir e aprofundar as diversas abordagens teóricas das Relações Internacionais, designadamente as abordagens clássicas racionalistas e positivistas e as abordagens pós-racionalistas e pós-positivistas.

Programa

1. Teorias das Relações Internacionais - Perspectiva Geral; 2. Realismo Clássico, Realismo Estruturalista e Realismo Neoclássico; 3. Liberalismo e Neoliberalismo; 4. Marxismo e Neomarxismo; 5. O Modelo Centro-Periferia, as Teorias da Dependência e a Teoria do Sistema-Mundo. 6. Construtivismo Social; 7. Teorias Críticas; 7.1. O Feminismo; 7.2. O Pós-colonialismo; 8..O Pós-estruturalismo e a Teoria das Relações Internacionais; 9. Normativismo, ética e cosmopolitismo.

Método de Avaliação

Os seminários serão leccionados por professores especializados em cada tema. A avaliação consistirá num trabalho escrito sobre um tema à escolha do estudante e será avaliado pelo professor responsável pelo seminário. O trabalho vale 100% da nota final: - 80% trabalho escrito; - 20% apresentação oral.
